Day 4: Validation

3-8-12 / A Blog by Brittany Jackson

Today was another great day!  I spoke on air this morning about the project with Mark from TK1270 and that was a whole new experience for me, but a great one!

We had a fun time at Youngstown State University and the students there seemed to enjoy the play.  Then we ate lunch, after a few issues finding a location for lunch.

Next we were off on a three hour car ride to Marysville.  Once there we found we had a wonderful, massive stage, along with a sound system and working lights, which has been unusual overall, and a wonderful change!  The Veteran’s Building in Marysville is beautiful!  Their questions were great and I got to meet Mark from the radio station and his children, who are both on the spectrum.

Tomorrow, is a “short” day.  By that I mean, we leave at 5:30 a.m. (I didn’t even know this time existed in an a.m. time slot!) and get back to Hiram around 3 p.m. or so, but both locations are within an hour or so drive of Hiram, so that makes it a little less crazy.  Since it is now after midnight and we got back only about a half hour ago, I am going to find the bed and get in!

I hope to see you at tomorrow’s performances!
